The client for this project is a large-scale automated logistics and advanced manufacturing distribution center in China. The facility faced severe vertical transport bottlenecks of heavy palletized materials across multiple floors (lifting height of 15.5 meters, with 3 stops and 3 stations). Traditional hydraulic freight elevators were slow and could not integrate seamlessly or continuously with automated production lines and ground-level manual pallet trucks.
To resolve this inter-floor logistics bottleneck, we customized and deployed two sets of 3-ton SJW3.0-15.5 Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC) . The core highlights of this project include:
-
Ultra-High-Speed Throughput: A lifting speed of up to 60 m/min (variable frequency adjustable), achieving a continuous throughput of 60 pallets/hour over a 15.5-meter vertical span.
-
Cabin-Integrated Slat Chain Conveyor: Unlike conventional roller tracks, the VRC cabin features an integrated heavy-duty slat chain conveyor . Specifically designed for plastic pallets (such as “田” or “川” runner pallets), the flat, continuous surface of the slat chains completely eliminates the risk of pallet runner hangups or bumpy transits between rollers, guaranteeing absolute stability during high-speed travel.
-
Ground-Level Pit-Recessed Conveyor Interface: The ground floor conveyor is pit-recessed (buried) so its roller surface sits flush with the shop floor , featuring channels designed specifically for manual hand pallet jacks . This allows operators to load pallets directly using manual hand jacks, completely bypassing the need for heavy warehouse forklifts.
-
Elevator-Grade Safety Barrier: Engineered with a 15-year service life, the mast utilizes high-strength 150x150x4mm square steel columns and professional T90 guide rails . It is equipped with an overspeed governor, mechanical safety gears, and rubber buffers to ensure maximum operational safety .
