Challenge
To execute scientific-grade vehicle certification and safety evaluations, the testing system had to address several critical engineering and operational constraints:
-
High-Precision Dynamic Tilting Control: Simulating reliable lateral slopes requires smooth, micro-adjustable tilting from 0° to 25° without any sudden hydraulic pressure spikes or structural jerking that could prematurely destabilize the test vehicle.
-
Immense Structural Span Rigidity: Accommodating vehicles on a 27-meter total length and 7-meter-wide platform requires extreme structural design to prevent twisting, local flexing, or welding fatigue under dynamic wheel loads.
-
Severe Slip & Safety Hazards: Elevating a heavy vehicle to a 25-degree side angle creates an extreme risk of lateral sliding or complete rollover, demanding a highly slip-resistant surface and fail-safe mechanical containment barriers.
Solution
Our engineering team designed and manufactured a high-rigidity, electro-hydraulic tilting test bed integrated with advanced safety systems and precise digital controls.
-
Synchronized Hydraulic Tilting with Wireless Remote: Built with a multi-cylinder hydraulic leveling and tilting system controlled via a wireless remote, allowing test engineers to smoothly adjust the lateral angle steplessly up to 25° from a safe viewing distance.
-
Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Certified Truss Platform: Engineered a robust, heavy-duty steel truss structural platform measuring 27 meters in total length (with 1.5-meter approach ramps at both ends) and 7 meters in width, verified to support over 2,0000 kg with minimal structural deflection.
-
High-Friction Anti-Slip Aggregate & Perimeter Barriers: Applied a heavy-duty, wear-resistant 16-36 grit aggregate epoxy coating to the deck surface to maximize tire traction, supplemented by heavy-duty lateral guardrails and mechanical wheel-stop side barriers to prevent vehicle slide-off.
